Sie haben sehr schöne Hände.

You have such beautiful hands.

Jan 27 Lassen Sie uns einander kennen lernen: Let's get to know each other.

I've decided that this calendar is mostly German pick up lines, which works for me.  I can use them quite practically here.

Yesterday we went to the castle.  It was so fricken cool.  It's really close too.  Like an 8 min walk up 200 some odd stairs.  I got to see (also, hug) the largest wine barrel in the world to ever hold wine.  After our tour of the castle I waited with my friend Brian because his brother was in the city visiting a friend, and was going to meet up with Brian.  We had some time to kill so we decided to go back into the castle to have some wine... but the freaking lady at the bar was gone when we went back.  Stupid...  So we are going to go back soon to try the wine.  Should be pretty tasty.

We all got our bikes yesterday.  I have this cute little green bike, that I'm really excited about.  So... ya.

That's about it for now. Nothing juicy yet.  Sorry ladies.  I haven't really been here long enough for that.  I'll keep you updated for sure.

Gibt es einen Geldautomaten hier in der Nähe?

Is there an ATM around here?

I thought it was funny that this was the "phrase of the day"  From my calendar because we found the ATM's today, and exchanged all of our American currency for Euros.  We did so much freaking walking, and I'm so sore, but it feels great to be getting exercise.  The food is way better than I thought it would be, so I'm not going hungry, but its also not so amazing that I will become an incredibly disgusting chunk of Lard here.  With the little food and lots of walking hopefully I will look amazing when I come back!  haha.  The men are also just as if not more attractive than I had hoped, and I'm definitely going to need to get on some of that soon... lol.  It's hard to talk to german guys though when there are 8 American ones around you at all times... at least for now anyway.  Well... I love and miss you both, and hope you are doing great at home!  Yay!  I'm finally here!

Here are the phrases for the last couple of days:

Jan 19 Ich esse veder Rind-noch Lammfleisch: I don't eat red meat.
Jan 20 Ich hätte Lust trinken zu gehen: I'm in the mood to go out and have some drinks.
Jan 21 Ist diese Kleidung angebracht?: Is this outfit appropriate?
Jan 22 Ich bin spät dran: I'm running late.
Jan 23 Hier ist Scheiße: This place sucks.
Jan 24 Können Sie mir etwas Geld leihen?: Can you loan me some money?
Jan 25 Lassen Sie uns anderswohin gehen: Let's go somewhere else.
